General feedback: I would like more of the story/lore to be in-game as opposed to on forums or Youtube. Do you agree?

Yes, I can definitely pass it along. Thank you! We want to get more into the game. We’re trying to find the right vehicle to do it.

I like the way Doom 4 and DoomE do it - the actual plot of the game itself is largely irrelevant and you are free to ignore it and focus on the gameplay, but there’s a full codex and bestiary available for those who are interested. Same deal with FromSoft games - much of the world’s lore is hidden in item descriptions.

This is actually a really cool idea and could help improve the journey to level 30. It would really help folk who are not very familiar with the 40k lore (or this part of the lore in particular).

As long as they focus on more maps, enemies and weapons before anything else then this definitely gets a nod from me as future content.

I would like it if they went the Left 4 Dead route and made mini “campaigns” where each group of missions in a sector work towards an end goal (not the liberation of Atoma as a whole). They have only done it with the carnival so far where you track down where the stims are coming from. All the other missions in the other sectors are self contained and doing their own things where none of the missions connect to one another.

I personally can’t stand this kind of storytelling. I’m fine with it in doom because I’m not expecting any kind of story so doesn’t bother me

I hate having to sift through everything and read item descriptions to try and piece together a larger picture, not even remotely an enjoyable narrative experience for me.

We’ve been asking for this since the beginning… not much luck this far /=

true, but I have a bit of renewed faith considering how much of a great job Strawhat has done with improving communication.

I think you’re on to something here… Lorehat

If you’re interested in my personal opinion, I personally really enjoyed those short 20ish second cutscenes that were introduced in the class update (I think?) to set the vibes & setting on the amenities, like the merchant, hadron, etc

They were quick, informative, established the tone well, and if people truly just DGAF they can just skip it and not care because it’s short.

I feel a quick cutscene upon logging in for some bigger events, or, like all the vox teasers that were put on youtube, have a vox station with a notification for us to go to and listen. Then a codex station to revisit everything is another great idea. this would do a much better job keeping players up to date to the game’s events, and for me personally would keep me way more invested in the original idea of a developing storyline.
