This is what I run with on a daily basis. I know not all people tolerate holding actions but if you do, then this is as perfect as it gets imo. Paired with gyro and Auric Damnation is not that hard. I ran three successful runs yesterday back to back - this means that if I can, anybody can. No aim assist needed.
Even without gyro the layout is way better than anything the game provides now.
Hold for shoulder button sprint and toggle for crouch are mandatory here.
The main thing with this layout is you rarely need to use Stick Buttons, and depending on your build you may not use it once in a run. Exception would be of course Auspex Scan missions.
Also alternative layout should be provided with Triggers and Shoulder buttons swapped.
