Game keeps going windowed and losing focus during missions

While playing the game, Darktide will at random intervals lose main focus on my computer and go into weird windowed mode that covers half the windows start bar. I must then click on the game to interact again and fullscreen the game to continue.

Same issue as the user above. I play with a controller (Xbox Pro Series 2) and it doesn’t require that I click in the game window to refocus on app. It does put the mouse icon center screen until I reset to fullscreen. Sometimes I’m required to leave and restart the game or Gamepass app to return to fullscreen.
