I have an RTX 3080 and a 5900x, 32GB of 3600mhz RAM and running windows 10 enterprise.
Although my FPS didn’t change, still dropping say, from 140 fps to 80 fps in some areas, the gameplay feels less laggy after disabling SMT. I tried this because a friend with a 3080 but an intel CPU said his game is smooth in the same areas. I also tried disabling a CCD before, but that didn’t make it smoother.
Could be something here for AMD CPUs? Anyone else have a similar experience?
