Game Benchmark Tool

This game would really benefit from in game benchmark tool. Fixed scenes, fixed spawns and movement for exact conditions for consistency of bench tests of say average horde scenario busy scenes.

For Example. Black Myth WuKong gone extra mile and have it as a free separate tool without buying the game. It gives max, avg, lows of FPS and choice of graphic settings. So then you know what to expect prior to purchase or test performance away from live missions.

Frame rate graph over time too:

Would probably raise more awareness to the game on websites/Youtubers who bench games against hardware like GPUs.

VT2 has one iirc, wonder why DT doesn’t :upside_down_face:

VT2 has also a solo game mode and the possibility to use our characters as bots…

Haha I knew that was coming again. I always say set your expectations low and you’ll get never get disappointed.

If FS ever did create benchmark tool like Black Myth Wukong or Dune has one too it will truly show CPU bottleneck or worse - Under utilised CPU and under utilised GPU and neither bound implying bad optimisation so could be bad press

Darktide problem is obviously not CPU use, but rather GPU one.

Darktide’s problem is no solo mode. Hah just did it again for you

I am serious.
I have on my second monitor a panel that shows me CPU use, RAM use, GPU use etc.
GPU is always running close to the limit (96% with my actual settings, but 99% before I lower several things).
My CPU is always at 5-7%. And I had also that with my 11900k. So CPU use is not really a problem (except if you want to use a pentium!).

This will never happen because darktide is being maintained by a skeleton crew

said this a couple times. darktide needs a built-in benchmark.
