Issue Type (Required):
Blessings
Issue Description (Required):
Full Bore has been fairly consistently failing to activate under circumstances where it should.
I’ve been testing out Full Bore in the Meat Grinder, where it works as intended, activating when all pellets from the shot hit the initial target. However, during online Missions specifically, it often fails to activate under the same circumstances that would work while in the Meat Grinder.
This is most noticeable on the Agripinaa Combat Shotgun’s special shot, the single-projectile slug. Based on the description of the blessing (and extensive testing in the Meat Grinder), Full Bore should be activating on any successful shot made with it, but it often does not during an actual game. This problem is not unique to the Agripinaa, I’ve tested with the Huntsman Shotgun with similar results.
I’ve most often noticed it failing when the shot successfully kills the target, regardless if it penetrates into targets behind them or not. However, it does rarely still fail when hitting a target that survives the attack. This makes it very hard to get Full Bore to activate when hitting lightly armoured chaff units.
Since I can’t get it to replicate in the Meat Grinder, maybe it’s some server-side interaction failing to detect the Full Bore criteria? I’d be second-guessing myself if it were mostly failing due to a stray pellet not being detected properly, but as I mentioned with the slug-shot, that shouldn’t have any reason to fail against unarmoured targets. I’m curious if anyone else has been noticing these issues.
I’ve tested this on both Veteran and Zealot, so I’m doubtful it’s a specific Class ability interaction causing this.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
-
Equip a weapon with Full Bore (preferably Agripinaa for the slug-shot)
-
Enter an online Mission (I tested in public matches, but I doubt private would make a difference)
-
Start shooting heretics and keep an eye on your buff stacks.
