LMAO just posted an identical topic

Moving mine here:

Including weapons, full tree, etc.

Arbites can take the following existing weapons:

Melee:

Combat Axe
Tactical Axe
Crusher
Shock Mauls
Chainsword

Ranged:

Vigilant Autogun
Braced Auto
Infantry Auto
Autopistol
Stub Revolver
Combat Shotgun
Bolter (pistol and regular)

There’s also the new weapons: An ‘Arbites shock Maul’ that looks to be 2-handed, two marks of shield-and-maul, a shield-and-shotgun-pistol in the ranged slot, and an ‘Exterminator Shotgun’ that has 2 marks. Blessings appear to be standard maul or shield stuff, but interestingly the new shotgun can get extra damage versus electrocuted enemies and the ‘ranged’ shield lacks the blessings of its melee counterparts re: defense.

As for the tree…

This boy looks to be a combat MONSTER. Keystones look like a Disrupt Destiny variant on the left, Weapon Specialization from Vet for the center, and a stagger-focused Bruiser on the right. With the sheer variety of options it looks also like a Vet situation where you might want to drop the keystones for more raw power. That said, there’s a LOT of stagger-buffs where you do more damage on enemies and stagger them more easily.

Some of the particularly funny or cracked-out talents though…

Love all the interconnections. Excited to dive in later!

Edit: oh and DUH, thanks for getting this up so fast!

Heres my plans, obviously ill try all the abilities and grenades but I love some of these nodes like the “max hp damage from single hit capped at 50”
ill do a different set up for like a full dog damage build just for the lols

So… many… choices!

The shieldless Maul seems pretty interesting, not sure what blessings will be good on it yet. High Voltage like the shock maul? Relentless Strike?

I just made the most cursed build. The REAL build will be available after I’ve actually played the Arbites…

Dogless build for fun… probably going with either aribtes maul + rending shotgun, or full shield/shockmaul+shockpistol.

Looks epic! Can’t wait to check it out :fire:

Insanely well-designed skill tree, with no tax-nodes and pure RNG skills. Wish Vet and Zealot get the same treatment some day.

I see several nodes that use Block. Good. I’ll take more, please.

The hound is going to have to be really good to compete with Lone Wolf.

I wonder how Remote Detonation works if you don’t have a hound? In fact, surely taking Lone Wolf should just make all talents related to the hound unavailable to your build?

It uses the Pysker’s brain bomb.

My take on it

I hope one of the shield marks has heavy bash attack

I’m boring I know xD

Correct, this is what happens. All the cyber-mastiff talents and Remote Detonation get locked out.

Enemies count as staggered on weak point hits intrigues me. Does this mean you can get the massive skullcrusher bonus (which is a team wide buff btw) just for hitting weak spots? They will massacre Monstrosities even faster than ogryns if this is the case (max strength of skullcrusher is 8 stacks of +10% damage).

Going off streams it looks like that’s how it works. Then Arbites has Crusher with 0.5 second stam regen delay. Wowie.

Shrugging off Crusher overheads is going to be very interesting…

Wow! So many actually not just stat increase nodes - that’s what I call a talent tree! If the weapon movesets are cool too, and they feel nice (I have high hopes - the last two melee weapons are literally the best in uniqueness and fun department), then we’re in for something great.

I really like when I can actually see and feel my place in the moveset just by looking at the screen - that’s why Relic Blades are so cool.

But you can still take “part of the team” for the TDR, right? Not sure if it’d be worth it, but…

Yeah, that base stat alone makes this the best melee class. Psyker delay but with 200hp, 150 toughness, one shot protection talent, cracked toughness on stagger, 20 second charge, an actual useful special on the shield and smite on demand with a 45 second cooldown (shock mine with aura regen). Oh, and that ogryn talent to free yourself from dogs but on a 5 sec cooldown.

GG tank ogryn my beloved. Arbites is my new friend.
