FPS is lower than before today patch

I thought the developers said performance would improve after the patch. Am I the only one experiencing a performance drop? Its like 30% fps drop from what i got before patch.

Check your settings to see if Raytracing re-enabled itself, fatshark hasn’t bothered to fix the fact that the settings_common.ini they ship with many updates has a default to Raytracing = True!

  1. It was actually fixed long time ago

  2. settings_common.ini never had the Raytracing = True line or any other raytracing setting whatsoever, you mistaking it with win32_settings.ini, the only thing about lightning that ever was in the settings_common.ini is the setting for GPU RGB lights :smiley:

  3. setting Raytracing = false was never a fix to begin with, it was done in user_settings.config via the rt_ and rtxgi values

  1. I’ve had it reset as recently as Beyond The Hive, (always happens for me on major updates, sometimes on hotfixes)
  2. Yeah i meant the win32 settings one, it’s in the same place as the file i wrote though i just got them mixed up
  3. I had them off in user_settings.config as well and it was still turning itself back on
