Another way of approaching this problem is to reduce the base movement speed, but add it back in a blessing.

Something I have just done to see the global move speed of all weapons:

Considering this, if we reduce the move of combat blades, a lot of weapons have to be nerfed. And I even wonder if the 0.45 area (most weapons) should not even be nerfed also if we follow the global wishes of people fed up about dagger zealots.

BUT: they could lower 0.8 to 0.6, 0.94 to 0.7 and 0.98 to 0.8 while putting 0.45 to 0.4. This would be correct.
So something like that:

This would mean a nerf impacting 68% of the weapons pool.
This would also, in fact, make the 32% remaining weapons feel better, so an hidden buff…

I doubt that if you nerf 68% of the weapons, you would get lot of thanks…

I mean, I have an Ogryn Speedster build rockin’ roaring advance and a Kourk Cleaver that begs to differ.

Hey! I used yesterday an agri shotgun… and after I took back the boltgun cause it is insane the power this weapon has… nothing can compete with it on a zealot.
This does not mean I will often use it again (especially considering how it is totally inefficient compared to boltgun).
