Well, my point is just, that’s your answer as for where solo mode is. “Not a priority”, or when reading between the lines, “not coming”.

And even “its not a priority” is hardly a concrete statement about anything.

This is exactly my issue. In one of these many, many, threads I claimed that “not a priority” isn’t an answer and was told “it is an answer, just not one you’re happy with”.

When I pointed out that in no industry is “it’s not a priority”, without an explanation, an acceptable answer to why a product wasn’t delivered or why a service wasn’t provided, the person conveniently stopped replying.

If you ordered a steak, with a side of potatoes and only received the steak and was told “they weren’t a priority” when you asked where the potatoes were, you wouldn’t accept that or pay for the meal.

If your boss asked you to complete a task and you only did a part of it and said “it wasn’t a priority” when they asked where the rest of it was, you probably wouldn’t have a job if you continued to remain silent.

But when it’s Fatshark doing it to us we’re supposed to say: “it’s an answer, just not one we’re happy with.”

I’m sorry, but f–k that. Fatshark is a service provider and we’re the customer. Whether they like it or not they owe us answers.

So, idk who you work for, but if they’ll happily accept “wasn’t a priority” with no further clarification when you don’t complete an assigned task then you’re working for the one company in the world that thinks that’s acceptable. Hell, I bet if Strawhat told her boss that something she said she’d get done for them “wasn’t a priority” and never explained more she’d be fired faster than I could ask where Solo Mode was.

I’d also like to emphasize that “not a priority” is not definitive like “it’s canceled” or “it’s coming next week” are. “Not a priority” by definition means “there are more important things to work on at this time”. Priorities change, everyone understands that, so why is it that when we’re asking Fatshark for an update on Solo Mode to see where it lies in the priority queue after we were given two new game modes, that were developed from the ground up and that no one asked for (and when we have an entire book full of things people have been asking for they completely ignored), people come in and say “not a priority means it’s not coming!”?
