I mean its cool to see on a graphic but as far as I can remember that’s just been the update schedule for the last 2 years. Vermintide actually gets Halloween and Christmas events, Darktide gets an update in September and then one in December.
What surprised me the most is that the next class is already being announced.
Same. I blinked at the end of the video when I saw that. Could thousands of souls who worship the Omnissiah be lifted in Joyous Praise to the Machine Spirit? Or will we be taken by surprise?
I love this, even if those dates change to “next week” it is still better then not knowing at all what they are doing or planning.
Trailer was so hype I want to play Vermintide 2 again as well.

Only 2 of the things on this “roadmap” we didnt already know about.
And a new class reveal shouldnt even be on a roadmap since its just a reveal not a release. The release as far as we know might be in december next year.

Let’s not start bashing upfront information…as that’s exactly what the community has been asking for.

Think of the money. They were inspired by the 2 month lobby takeover of 3-4 Arbites.
Like I said in the main announcement. If it makes them stop having such a terrible cash shop and they instead put out new classes that you can choose to pay for I’ll open my wallet.
A roadmap of some kind and a responsive event is a step in the right direction, even if there’s ground yet to cover to reach a reasonable live service standard. Gotta give credit when due, wherever you criticize. Good work, FS.
However, it’s hard to believe that Fatshark would announce content that’s still unfinished.
At the very least, since they mentioned that more details about the new class and a developer interview will be released later, it’s likely that the new class is already about 80% complete and currently in the final stage of testing.
If we’re lucky, there’s even a chance the DLC could be released with the year-end update.
Of course, this is all just speculation.
There is absolutely no way that will happen.

Yeah, I would be shocked if it’s released this year as well. To be fair to Fatshark, usually when they announce something like this it’s only a few months out. I am expecting a release during the first quarter of 2026
I’m betting the new class comes out on Dec 2 with the free update.
