Don’t you think that the MK8 turned out to be a little deprived compared to the MK3?
Yes, you get higher accuracy, BUT
-the damage is less
-two bullets less, difference of two shot may seem insignificant, but believe me, it is these two shots that can help tear apart the two remaining elite enemies. The Mk8 requires reloading too often
-the alternative shot is pretty questionable against normal enemies, i like the electric shot in mk3 much more, this shot is also more organic with the talent tree
Still playing with both
Right now I prefer MK III because the taser shot has more applications for setups with melee shenanigans. I don’t think the VIII should be slept on, tho. Maybe on a dogless build with Priority Endowment. You only need the VIII’s special shell for three enemies in the game, but it works well.
