Data Harvester: “harvest or extract with 50 data reliquaries with the help of your teammates.”

  • This currently only seems to track the reliquaries u carry into harvester/valkyrie, and does not track the ones deposited/carried by your teammates.

Practiced Extraction: “successfully extract with the entire team remaining in the extraction zone after the extraction is ordered.”

  • Just finished a mission where every player stayed inside the extract zone from before the extraction was called, and after the valkyrie has landed. Penance not completed.

Explorator Prime: “unlock 18 grid points.”

  • There are only 8 grid points total.

Pro-Trader: “exchange 100000 salvage for items in deadsider sanctuaries.”

  • This is simply a ridiculous amount.

Tech-Hunter: “extract with 250000 total tech-remnants with the help of your teammates.”

  • Unlike Data Harvester where the exact same wording as here doesn’t actually match its current function, this one does track your whole team’s extracted tech-remnants, which is good. However, the 250000 requirement is also, simply ridiculous.

Additionally, since hotfix 1.11.1 (released today, March 19th), I’ve crashed twice in expeditions, which hasn’t happened before this hotfix. I’ve yet to get another mission abort though.

Tech-remnants effectively do NOT scale up between difficulties, resulting in speedrunning Malice being by far the most effective way to progress these penances and unlock grid points.

Auric needs to be AT LEAST twice the malice payout in terms of tech-remnants to be justify the difficulty increase.

Tech-remnants also currently do nothing besides being a number that goes up for unlocking grid points & penances. But I’m sure you guys have plans for that, right?

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Data Harvester: track the penance in tactical overlay and see if the number goes up when teammates deposit reliquaries into sanctuary harvesters (it currently doesn’t)
  2. Practiced Extraction: gather full team inside extraction zone, then call the extraction, then everybody stay inside until valkyrie lands & gets on. No penance unlock.
  3. Explorator Prime: see the grid point map.

This is a lot, but after getting through some games I think it’s not atrocious. It is ~100 games, which is in line with other penances. It depends how much you enjoy the mode but it’s not too unreasonable.

This one on the other hand? I searched the forum precisely because I wanted to make this point.

I have 40000 something remnants, 4000 something spent salvage. So while the first penance is nearly 1/5 done, the other is 1/25. By my previous estimate, that means ~500 games. It’s definitely not in line with the other penances, and I’d argue too big a grind for the mode.
