We’re aware of an issue where the ‘Data Harvester’ Penance does not track correctly.
This will be resolved in our upcoming hotfix, 1.11.2.

I assume this is a bug because the description is “Harvest or extract with 100 data reliquaries with the help of your teammates”

My team has extracted and harvested a few now and I don’t have a single point for it on the penance tracker. My teammates have harvested quite a few and I myself have extracted with 1, yet no increase on the penance.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- Play expeditions
- have team extract or harvest data reliquaries
- notice there is no increase in penance tracker for Data Harvester

Data Harvester (1, 2, 3), Data Gatherer, and Excess Baggage all seem to be broken.

I got Excess Baggage the first time I extracted while carrying a reliquary, but it didn’t count for Data Harvester. Other people from my team didn’t receive the penance (but the description makes it look like it only counts for you so that may be normal).
The first time I harvested one in a safe zone, me and two other people in my team received the penance Data Gatherer (according to the automated chat message).
So far only reliquaries I’ve harvested myself have counted for Data Harvester. Ones harvested by teammates, or ones I’ve extracted with, didn’t progress the penance.

The bug is that they don’t count it for the team, only when you personally deliver it
btw I delivered 2, 1 in sanctuary and 1 into extract
no idea which one counted and which didn’t

It was “data gatherer” - I harvested 1 yesterday, 1 today and am at 2/10 for data harvester. I haven’t completed excess baggage yet.
not sure if it was addressed in 1.11.1 today:
- Fixed an issue where Data Reliquary doesn’t count as extracted if it is present in the valkyrie but not carried by a player.

Currently, Data Harvester penance counts only if you personally put in data vault, and not from your teams. It also does not seem to count if you put Data Vault into Valkyre during extraction.

It is not counting any that your teammates bring and it is also not counting the ones you bring. I had 30 going into a match and extracted with one and it did not count it.

The Data Harvester penance asks the player to extract or deposit 100 reliquaries total with the help of their team. However, this currently has 2 issues:

Reliquaries deposited by teammates inside sanctuaries don’t count (despite the wording implying that it would, since the Tech-Hunter penance uses the same wording and tracks all tech-remnants extracted by the full team).

Reliquaries brought onto the valkyrie extraction, even though they are converted into tech-remnants correctly after the match, don’t actually contribute towards the penance.
As such, the only way to progress the penance right now is to be the person holding a reliquary, before reaching the final zone in an expeditions run, and depositing it inside a sanctuary.
I gotta be owed at least like 5 progress on this penance by now.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- Track Data Harvester penance, and get into an expeditions match with at least 2 players on the team (including yourself).
- Find a data reliquary in all zones but the last, bring it inside sanctuary, and have a player that’s not yourself deposit it at the harvester machine.
- Observe the penance tracker not updating.
- Find a data reliquary in the last zone, and bring it onto the valkyrie extraction.
- After the end of the match, observe the penance tracker not updating.

Important to note that extracting also doesn’t count - only reliquaries deposited in the sanctuaries do, those taken onboard of valkyrie do not.

I can confirm, this is happening to me as well.
Ditto. I’ve been in a couple of groups where players fight over who gets to deposit it, even going so far as to threaten to kick people for not handing it over… not cool!

Do you have an ETA for 1.11.2? It’s really annoying feeling like you have to “compete” over these things.
