Hello! I’m a long-time Zealot player who recently started leveling a Veteran. When I unlocked the Power Sword I noticed that its combo routing remembered your place in a combo when you activated the power charge mode. As an Eviscerator mk. III enjoyer I was curious if there is a balance reason why the big chainsword resets to position 0 in a combo when you rev it and doesn’t remember your place the way the Power Sword does? In particular, I have always wanted a way to route combos into Rev Heavy 2, the vertical overhead heavy, but this is only possibly by canceling a push attack into a heavy charge, and doesn’t happen organically in the mk. III’s complex and very enjoyable combo routing.
Is Eviscerators remembering your place in a combo when you activate rev something that can be included, to enable more opportunities to use the rev vertical heavy attack? Or is it the way it is for balance or technical reasons? Thanks for your time.
I mistyped it, but push > heavy 2 was what I meant. I’d like the precision of a vertical attack inside my combos without needing to spend time performing the push, in the same way the Power Sword can activate and maintain its position in a combo.
I think the mk3 has an objectively better moveset than the mk15. The L1 comes out so fast and with FotF you can one-shot any gunner or special you want.
I’ve been playing with the Relic Blade since the most recent update and I just need to pop in here one more time and reiterate: please consider the above proposal. It would feel so good in action.
Honestly, all chain weapon revs should work like Relic sword power-up. Do-able mid-combo with the ability to shorten the animation with blocks or other actions.
