I’ve started experiencing this problem as of today ( V2 ran fine last night) - I’ve tried reinstalling V2 numerous times. I believe the error has something to do with Easy Anti Cheat. Have tried repairing that but that hasnt worked either.
Hello! I’ve pinged this over to Easy Anti-Cheat who will hopefully be able to shed some light on the issue. There’s a plethora of potential solutions online but I’d rather only provide ‘official’ advice, so I’ll pop a reply over as soon as I’ve heard back from them.

If the error shows up upon launch it indicates that something on your PC is blocking Easy Anti-Cheat from performing one of its operations. In the vast majority of cases an Anti-Virus or similar security software is responsible. The easiest way to address this is to temporarily uninstall any such software to verify if Vermintide 2 starts normally after that. If it does, the Anti-Virus can be installed back and the Vermintide 2 directory added to its exception list.
Please also make sure that the Easy Anti-Cheat service is not disabled. To do this, open the Command Prompt and execute the following command:
services.msc
In the opened window, locate Easy Anti-Cheat, double-click it and set the ‘Startup Type’ to ‘Manual’ if it’s set to anything else.

HI - I havent tried uninstalling my antivirus software but i have tried adding EAC and vermintide 2 to the list of exceptions, but that hasnt worked.
Worst come to worst i might need to do a soft reformat of my PC.
