Error Code: 1016/ Failed to synchronize with other player 1 & 2

Issue Description (Required):

Every match or so I will fail to join and be booted to the character selection menu with either of the three errors above. Sometimes I can go six matches or it can be back to back. Then it will take 2-6m to load back into the match with it being stuck on processing inquisitorial clearance.

Yes, and I’ve tried disabling them

I recommend trying the following -

  • Ensure you have appropriate Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions in place for Darktide
  • Try a ‘Selective Startup’ in case an external program is conflicting:
    • Press the Windows key
    • Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
    • On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
    • Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
    • Reboot your PC

If you can try temporarily switching to a mobile data connection and check if the error persists, this can also help to determine if the issue is network/ISP-related.
