There is a lot to like about Darktide. I played a bunch at launch, then gave it a break until about a week ago. I really appreciate all the work and improvements you all put into the game. You’ve been incredibly busy, and it shows! Fwiw, you had my vote in the Steam Awards.
…But (and this is a big one), the equipment system is still a messs. A huge mess. The randomized, gatcha nature of how to gain equipment makes it profoundly frustrating. The headache of hoping for the right weapon to have the right stats and to be on at the right time to get it is so crippling it single-handedly nearly negates all the work you’ve done on everything else. It certainly prevents me from getting other friends involved in Darktide, because they all get put off by this mess! It’s that much worse for new players, and you have to be super motivated to overcome it.
Please fix the equipment system, so that it’s easier to navigate, more reliable, and less of a headache.
Pretty much yeah. Put him on the list. Pray to the Emperor for relief from bricked garbage and the torrent of trash barely worth the effort of scrapping.
i really don’t believe these dudes that say their friends won’t play because of the item systems. maybe they won’t play because of your obcessed bitching of them but that’s not the same thing. since i was able to get all my friends to play just fine without bringing up weapons and none of them have complained.
All the darktide forums are a handful of clowns circlejerking about how much they don’t like the weapon system, and you flood everything in the darktide forums with it! there’s no way to have a conversation about this game in the forum FOR this game because you’re all butthurt ALL the time!
I play the game, come here to see if there’s any good discussion and ever time it’s #baww the locks from you clowns! the whole weapon mechanic is built around the locks to encourage people to try different loadouts from each other, they’re not changing it!
What’s funnier is that this is really easy to fix. Fatshark just has to listen to customer feedback. That’s it.
You can easily deprive a nerd rage moment by actually fixing the problem. Look at how many people circlejerk CP2077 as the best thing ever now that it’s delivered on what it originally promised!
it’s literally all they do. check the darktidew forums, they do not do anything else. i’m just venting because it’s not gonna make anything WORSE. the mods should bad these threads at this point.

If people keep coming in here unprompted, making new threads about a problem. That isn’t on them. That’s on the people that made it a problem to begin with. And the only way to fix that that isn’t just banning people for having opinions is to fix the problem.
So take a deep breath, calm down, and stop getting all bent out of shape about the fact that something like 90% of the people who play this game want something fixed. The sooner Fatshark does something about it, the sooner you can see other threads about things again. And it’s not like that’s the only thing happening on these forums. @Khorne_Dawg just started a build critique thread a few days ago.
i have blocked him now, he’s the one bitching the most about everyone else.
he seems to have bad times and isn’t grown up, because he mocks at others all the time beeing offtopic, only personal attacks, nothing constructive but blaming others.
almost similar here. Playd ~500hrs from pre-launch to February '23 and paused until 3 or 4 weeks ago.
I had 4 Million dockets and a good amount of ressources and buyed a lot from Brunt to consecrate it.
I have no BiS but good gear, not for all 4 classes, but i dont play them all at the same time. More like some days i played Vet, then i played some Zealot, 2 weeks played Psyker and now i’m stuck at my Ogryn
I have fun, im totally broke ingame, my gear is ok to good, still looking for this or that T4 Blessing and better weapon.
Did some new penances, got some new cosmetics from it, buyed a hat from shop, thats it.
Agreed lol, I can’t hardly play 2-3 games without a memory leak issues/ out of memory or an actual server disconnect message. I don’t think they restart their servers very often…
