I think the Data Interrogator idea has now become a bit stale. I’d love if tasks were not just holding down E and clicking at the right time, but instead opening a hatch and connecting red wire to red port, blue wire to blue port etc.
I love the idea in the frantic fight, the player can see what they’re repairing or hacking. Not just “Click at the right time. That’ll get you ident codes”

maybe one day we could implement modular map design based on those elements.
like veteran shortcutting cables at path 1 or ogryn smashes wall segments to path 2, depending on your teams composition.
