The dual stub pistols that came new with the release of the Hive Scum are awesome weapons albeit maybe a little underpowered. I think the reason why they feel underpowered is actually because the Critical Bonus stat on them is not working. I tried using two different stub pistols, one with 71% crit bonus (dmg stat was 69%), another with 23% crit bonus (dmg stat was 65%). when shooting a Reaper and proccing a critical hit, the damage difference was 787 (71% crit bonus) and 779 (23% crit bonus), which the dmg stat difference can account for the slight variation. I also have a mod that shows me my crit chance %, this is unchanged between the two pistols even though the crit bonus stat is a difference 48%… If this is true that it is bugged, fixing this stat by itself would surely bring the Dual Stub Pistols into a much better place and would be more satisfying to use!
