I’m gonna level with y’all, calling the run ‘gimmicky’ is missing the point.
The point is that this should be flat out impossible. Ignoring half the game mechanics for Auric with two players out of four should result in a dead team 100% of the time. This is something that should not be.
Well, it was possible for Zealot to sonic through the Havoc 40, shanking enemies for his CDR and complete it in 25~ minutes. Why nobody was bringing this up?
One dog is 78% of a human player, assuming a human is there to operate buttons and combat was basically non-stop in both scenarios.
Crude as Hel, I know, but the point is that the dogs are not much slower than humans and the 47 minutes would have been pretty damn close to 30 if there were 4 dogs instead of 2.
People did in the past, and still are though less often with the new DLC class in town.
It’s a good thing then I play on my discord with friends and others 95% of the time where I can personally see the growth of many players. Which is how I made most of my observations.
Are you referring to ds zealots or knife zealots? Because it sounds like both of those are actually using game mechanics. Tremendously OP ones that make them abandon their team, sure, but they’re not actively refusing to dodge or attack.
And people still complained about them, but the problem there was the unmatched mobility paired with extreme damage potential, not ‘I can just autopilot through a match’.
Assuming they’re not making an appeal to ignorance, busy making ad hominems, or simply ignoring the point, it’s because they’re taking the win state for granted. It’s only Auric after all. It’s like saying the DS is OP because a lone player can win with one on Uprising.
“Come back after winning on Havoc 40, solo, with your eyes closed, and after your computer crashed halfway through the level.”
I kid. It’s the internet: If you’ve no shame you never have to admit you’re wrong.
Because there’s no need to list other OP things in the game when talking about any other OP thing. I’m pretty sure you know that, but have confused “rhetorical question” with “stupid question.” It’s a common mistake.
This still doesn’t make any sense. You’re missing on that the duo was made by two extremely competent players with one specific build around blocking and buffing the dogs. If they took literally any other classes for duo it would be much faster and easier.
It does not prove anything.
No, I am talking about Havoc 40 Zealot solo that doesn’t even kills enemies, just rushes through level, shanks for CDR, does the objective and extracts. (Screenshot is not mine and it was done in 12 MINUTES!!!)
You have severe troubles percieving the reality. If you unironically think that “dog plays the game for you” because of this showcase and it is comparable to Zealot solo cheesing the game or meta loadouts that trivilaze any content and don’t even need an Arbitrator, which was possible for YEARS, you ARE the malice warrior trying to look tough by constantly screeching that the “game is too ez”. It was pretty much evident by your old posts.
Arby can pretty easily hold W through Auric HInt and complete a mission just as fast if not faster than a 4-man group. And without cheesing the AI director like some speedruns out there.
If it’s not something monkey can use and still win the game it’s not OP duh.
Oh wait, you have 100,000 monkeys do the test and one of them actually win? That monkey is too competent at the game. Next time do it with Chimp instead of Orangutan!
…if someone can do that, yeah that’s kinda insane, but they are at least dodging, attacking, and engaging with the actual gameplay rather than just autopiloting all their damage, right? Because I’ve never heard about this before.
Dogs can indeed play the game for you below Auric, it’s possible to complete Heresy/Malice missions without ever pressing anything other than W. No blocking, dodging, attacking, abilities, tagging, healing. But you’d still have to press E to interact with objectives.
Whether it’s possible on Damnation is currently still just a theory.
I find it very hard to believe without manipulating spawns and/or rolling for “easy” director scripts. Even if it’s true, it would take more effort than playing literally any other class, so what’s the problem?
Effort? You’d just be pressing W lmao. Definitely not possible to do solo depending on the map and difficulty but I think it shouldn’t even be possible at all even with 4 dogs.
I already did though; as i said, you made a false assertion and then based all of your points on that initial falsehood. When I pointed that out you went with insults again.
There was no false assertion. You clinged to the “no attacking” narrative is ignoring game mechanics, and I explained that ignoring game mechanics were possible long time ago and if the dog does damage, then it is possible to oursource the damage to the dog. It is also way less efficient then playing normaly. Then you started quoting random sentences with the pathetic “gocha” baiting. Try again.
I’d just add to this that micro’ing the dog while playing normally isn’t that difficult of a skill. So not only do you get to play as this pretty mobile insane tank with high damage output, you have access to a companion that can clear the lobby for you. A solo knife zealot is gamebreaking in some sense, but it doesn’t actually flow back to normal games (mostly). The majority of Arbites are going to have their dog every round they play.
