Some geometry interacts oddly with player dodges and can cause you to get airtime off a dodge, removing your ability to control yourself (and dodge again) until you hit the ground.
The attached clip is from No Man’s Land, but it happens in other levels too.

Exact specifics unknown. May have something to do with steepness of geometry you can walk on.
I’ve been meaning to make a funny edit of a dumb clip I made on Consignment Yard a few weeks back. I was doing some sliding and dodging and slide-dodging around one of those winding staircases and I bounced like 10 feet in the air and went right over the ledge without grabbing it. Sometimes you can get too sauced on movement and kill yourself.
