DLSS 3/Frame Generation not present in the Gamepass version

DLSS Frame Generation is not present in the video options in the Gamepass version. I played the pre-release version on Steam and was able to see it and enable it on my RTX 4090. My drivers are up to date and HAGS is enabled in Windows 11.

There are several reddit threads discussing it, such as this one:

This bug is on our radar and should be fixed in the next Gamepass update - thank you for the report!

Thanks for the quick response Lev! Any idea when we can expect this update?

No ETA just yet, but updates will be coming as swiftly as possible!

@DrDoakes, we’ve done some digging, and for Windows 10 users this should be resolved by enabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling.

I don’t think this a HAGS not being turned issue, for some people at least.

Me, and other Gamepass version users, have it on already, but the Frame Generation is not available. It is working fine in other games. I’m on a 4090, current drivers (Win11, if that matters).

I have the same issue!

I’m on Windows 11 and Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling is enabled!

Thanks,

Thanks Lev, I noted in my original post that I already had HAGS enabled and Frame Generation is still missing. It seems like the issue stems from the Gamepass version itself rather than the users hardware/configuration.

Fixed the problem, the DLSS frame generation files are missing in the gamepass build.
