Hi, we’ve been playing with a new player yesterday and none of us were able to actually host a game above veteran, although the person that was causing the issue could.
The new person has started playing after the patch that changed this I believe, based on what he told us. Also I think he managed to go above the 200 power requirement threshold for a higher difficulty during the play session, but even then nothing has changed. I can not guarantee he has equipped all the items to be above the threshold - I trust that you can see that in the log to confirm?
We tried later on restarting and a different host and the issue persisted. The new player “mandudecrazy” has a family share steam library from his brother apparently, if it’s in any shape relevant.
Sorry if I missed something somewhere but I didn’t find anything related to this posted.

- have a player that does not meet the old hero power requirement barriers in the lobby
- The host and the other clients that do meet the old requirements are not allowed to actually host a higher difficulty game
- the person that does not meet the requirements is allowed to
