ALSO - I know the team is looking into it but PLease please please try and sort out whether the Hive Scum’s Nimble Talent is indeed bugged as reported to be - and either fix it or make a post about it ahead of the holiday break so people know. If it is busted, it is a big impact to the HS’s survivsbility.
I have a question. When will Backend Error be acknowledged and fixed? Some players are still unable to enjoy the game due to that problem.
@FatsharkQuickpaw Please, can you ask the level designer why there’s no corpses or body pieces all around on an active warzone? I really want to know because the map is great but to be “gruesome and grim” it needs that I think. Demolished buildings and mud ain’t that gruesome really.
I made an account just to say that I loved the aesthetics of this mission. All the little details - the valkyries, especially the one that gets shot down, the explosions in the air, the guns firing. It’s all so cool and atmospheric. I especially loved looking at the little details, like crates and H-Barriers and notes on the walls from the 52nd. I gotta admit that I’ve already taken a few ideas for Armies on Parade. We were talking in my local warhammer shop about how we love to see mini terrain in full scale! Really really hope to see more of this.
my only problem with this map is u barely get a chance to hear the new music yah made for it it plays at the end for like 5 minutes maybe the map is too short to fully use the music that was made
I was hoping the map would be a little more interactive with the Leman Russ but it is a great mix up from the normal. But what if there were scab demo teams working to attack the tank directly that the rejects could stop? And then as an end of that sequence you could see Lionheart put a shell directly into a plague ogryn’s chest killing it in one hit. It would be cool to be part of the mission more than just a set piece that blows up a couple doors for you.
Maybe next time the Leman Russ could have an HP bar the team has to keep track of, while preventing scab rocket troops and poxbursters rigged with anti-tank bombs from chipping it down as it rolls along with you through the trenches, providing support fire and destroying bunkers/pillboxes while you mop up.
Never, as long as you keep to only making posts. They can ignore posts, like the government ignores letters of people begging them to improve upon their country. Now, if you were to leave negative reviews… and if a lot of people would do it… That’s a different story.
this. as i said in another thread about player numbers: there was a spike after each class release, but then the game struggles to keep the newly acquired or returning players. why? probably because the novelty of playing a new class wears off, and then you’re stuck with the same old missions. the game needs more content, like a mission pack and some enemies, and then having 6 classes to play these missions, plus the old ones with new enemies are much more variations.

First question, how long will you be gone for Holidays? After all, we want to know when we should start paying attention for new teasers and the like.
And second question, Is it possible to give us discord members a poll to chew on over the Holiday break? Just a general poll about anything Darktide, perhaps who we want to have as mission vocator in the future (My vote is for Zorin by the way, since he just stands there and complains at the moment), perhaps to see if people prefer the chem grenades over the boom-bringer blitz.

Let me just say, it all worked!
Me and my closest group of ingame friends all think it’s the best map you’ve designed here. I love the concept of operations, and the map is a beaut, both to play and to look at.
I knew going in this was going to be trench warfare so I got there on the deep end with my veteran on auric, smoke grenades and executioner’s stance. I felt like that build really payed off here!
Figuring out exactly everything that was going on took a few more runs (but there’s the beauty of replaying) like hey, there’s the tank, oh so there was a drawbridge, uh?
But that first deep dive will stay in my memory for a long while.

I’ve always wanted to actually fight on the front lines and this was a good opportunity too. The mission was a blast (heh) overall and I loved it a lot. Plus, I like actually helping and being helped by an NPC, and not just Swagger and his mysterious teleportation.
