which game didn’t lose 98% of the playerbase from the release ? (98% might be big but since the question is dumb let’s go answers dumbly ) btw all game lose a huge chunck of there player base after release and its called “hype” which is a normal think)
vermintide player mostly and not some call of duty dude who don’t know what is a looting game
People didn’t stay for Vermintide 2 for the crafting or itemisation system either, but the fact you can actually reach the end of itemisation in VT2 was what kept a large chunk of its remaining player base.
With Baldur’s gate 3, boltgun, Remnant 2, Hell divers 2, and such this may stay as it is until there’s more strides made on the crafting section. But maybe I will see how it feels.
Huge chunk yes, but what’s important is can these games retain a steady amount of players for months or even years after launch?
DRG is probably the best example most people here would refer to but even older games like Payday2 still maintain a loyal following that has carried their devs through bankruptcy I believe and now they’re preparing for PD3.
So idk how much money FatSharks made from this game but question is will it be enough for them to continue making new projects to sustain them and hopefully more tide games?
Can you imagine space marines but a tide game? All my yesses. Hopefully the new Space Marine 2 gives me those same intense vibes.
So still no custom mission select or solo missions.
You had Flash missions, why not use that name?
Well, subject to change this: as is experience is useless bonus for anyone with maxxed level character, which is majority of your tiny remains of the player base.
Took you five months to implement something that should have been on launch of the thing.
You owe people days of their life for even participating in the non modded system.
Oh, F you. This is beyond incompetence and straight on maliciousness at this point.
There are no not name calling words I can give you as feedback about this sentence.
A month and a half of silence and best you said “f you locks stay”.
L2R troll; even in places where there are laws addressing the issue of data privacy conditions are far from ideal, and barely scratch the surface of the issue and plenty of abuses still take place.
DECEIVED BY DESIGN: How tech companies use dark patterns to discourage us from
exercising our rights to privacy
While a player dip after release is normal, Darktide shed 90+% of its players 3 times faster from release than Vermintide 2 did. Make of that what you will.
The option to choose which traits to unlock wasn’t something I was clamoring for, but being able to change two of your curio perks is HUGE! Wow! I can’t wait to mess with this. I was ignoring curios for the most-part because I couldn’t be bothered to grind for a perfect set. This makes it a really attainable goal now.
That doesn’t work, I’m the customer here, I don’t get fed by them, it’s reverse. If I was fed by Fatshark, I’d be skinnier than starving child from third world country.
i find it rely sad that most of the complain i see, is often about crap and most people don’t know what’s is bad/good about it but still complain when there many more important thing to fix in the game, but i should better play the game instead of talking whit people who don’t wan’t to talk about how to make the game better but just wan’t to complain.
