Oh dear, you think that was what Havoc was supposed to be?
Aye, truthfully all I’d really want is for Melk to have a new function for endgame players like myself. I’ve got Melk Money burning a hole in my pocket here. And Dockets. And Plasteel. And Diamantine.
Emperor, we need a sink. Several, probably.
If Havoc has any part in an end-game grind, I think it’ll be offering more red-related mats (which might explain why you can get SO many SO easily once you grind up to a high level).
But I think long-term and high-skilled players aren’t the same, and so whatever the new end-game grind will be will not be for high-skilled players only. FS needs to give as many people as possible a reason to continue enjoying the game, so I hope they don’t make the mistake of VT2 (where high-skilled players were the only ones with the hope of getting reds/rare cosmetics).
Without an actual reward Havoc is going to die after most people complete it’s penances. Sure the resource payout is a lot, but at the point you’re clearing Havoc 40 your gear is already maxed out, and you’re probably sitting on a mountain of resources already. Why suffer the Party Finder when you could get those same resources from other modes more reliably and not have to wait several hours to get into a match?
While true, in fact I don’t care about achievements or Mario coin pickups in any FPS game, Havoc is a visionless move by FS.
Excrement game design. At this point they don’t care about the brand image but I wish they just removed it from the game. Even now.
