Deflector blessing not working with snipers

People have been asking for this since 2022.

It was confirmed that it was intentional, but possibly subject to change. Like the ogryn shield (which eventually was changed).

However one old thread has claims that “kinetic deflection” is actually what prevents it from blocking sniper shots and that not having it allows sniper shots to be blocked:

This topic keeps coming up for years.

Can we please have a final verdict from the developers?

Surely the gameplay designers don’t need more than 2 years to come to a decision about this?
