Dawn of War, a beloved 40K game and my personal entry into the franchise, is nearing its 20th anniversary. Each of our playable classes is represented there, so what better way to pay homage to the all time GOAT than to bring their units to life here?
Perfect time to add the much asked-for iconic Kasrkin armour too. A few new weapons perhaps, such as the Hotshot Lasgun or a more chainsawesque Eviscerator. Would a vaguely purple skin tone for the Psyker be too much to ask for? Cadians can have their purple eyes, psykers should have access to a more mutated look.
It’s now or never Fatshark. 21st anniversary simply doesn’t sound as good as 20th.
As we haven’t already gotten the iconic preacher long coat (a frock?), I doubt we’ll ever get it. They probably don’t think it’s worth the effort of rigging it or however it works which really sucks.
I think the opposite, they will “work” on the game during SM2 release and once that hype dies down have an announcement. My guess is late march in prep for Skulls Event.
