what is the point of doing this if zealot still only has 1 fun ability and 1 fun blitz and 1 fun build? we’re still just gonna be getting the same talents just in a different layout

If you look on YouTube some content creator are already starting to spoil the changes, in Hank channel you can find all the about the ogryn.
wasnt this supposed to be a big update? bruh fix mission board and nerf arbiters and then add real content not morti trials
The goal isn’t just to counter player powercreep but to experiment with a different design direction for the Crusher, where they spawn less frequently but are individually way tankier, like a little miniboss.

Making them minibosses would be fine if they weren’t completely immune to most weapons. Imagine if a captain or a beast of nurgle spawned but had a 90% damage reduction to all weapons except armor piercing ones, it would suck and that’s basically what’s going to happen if you face 3 crushers with 6500 hp but unlike the other bosses the crushers have a one shot attack that can hit you through dodges because the servers have been a mess since the Arbites update

given the extra dmg from the nodes from the class reworks, it probably won’t be that bad like at all.

Personally I like this update, I lit up with surprise over the new weapon marks for Bolt Pistol and Boltgun!
Power Falchion cool, checks off the list for Veteran having its niche alternative Power Sword
Mortis Trials, which may be unpopular opinion by some players on this forum, yet my opinion stands:
I actually enjoy playing Mortis Trials!
Thus so, the new content is nice, and since Mortis Trials needed more than just two maps, more variety alongside indulgences is also great
I really need to see how the talent trees on Vet, Psyker and Zealot are now as well!

there’s no point buffing crushers if uncanny strike and infinite cleave still exist and if zealots get 100% rending in stealth

You guys did a good job with this update, I’m glad to see rest of the classes got a skilltree reworks for themselves like ogryn did.
Bit sad that ogryn didn’t get any new weapons, his roster is still bit anemic, I hope the December update brings us something. I hope we get a slab shield with a power maul.

There are enough +Rending or +Brittleness options in basically any talent tree to turn every weapon into a Crusher killer, or at least something that contributes DPS. But yes, every good loadout should find a way to incorporate a way to hurt Crushers, just like how any good build now has some measure of boss DMG.
