Going to be that guy, isn’t that a half kneel? In-game crouching may look silly but it’s more in line with the definition of crouching “adopt a position where the knees are bent and the upper body is brought forward and down, typically in order to avoid detection or to defend oneself.”

That definition doesn’t take into account you are firing a weapon
Thats why I posted real soldiers and how they would crouch while firing

This is based, especially when you delve into the subject of weapon recoil, specifically focusing on the challenges posed by specific veteran weapons such as the Plasma Gun or Boltgun when used in this particular stance. The recoil from those powerful firearms might disrupt the balance of the characters using them in this stance.
I have faith in the creative team at Fatshark and their ability to fine-tune this animation. Its current rendition seems somewhat jarring and out of place in the game’s context. A smoother and more immersive animation would greatly enhance the overall gaming experience and make the use of these veteran weapons feel more authentic.
