Crash to desktop after Hotfix 1.1.3

Issue Description:

It crashes immediately to desktop when I try to launch it.

Steps to Reproduce:
When I press “launch”, it builds the shader cache, opens a black window, and then crashes to desktop.

The problem started after updating to Hotfix 1.1.3.

Additional information on my computer/graphics card
Windows 10- 16GB ram- AMD Radeon Vegas 8 Graphics. I could always run the game before on medium to high graphics with around 40-50fps.

hi, i have already included that, but its easy to replicate the error in exactly the same way so heres another launcher log.

That would be a console log but I’ve been able to pull the darktide_launcher.log from the GUID you provided, so no worries! :slight_smile:

I’ve been able to locate and raise your crash to our database for our developers to look in to. In the mean time I recommend using the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option, which is accessible via the Steam client using the instructions below:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
