The game crashes as soon as I move closer into the keep towards the center, or when I open the menu to look at equipment. I tried disabling all mods and it still crashed. Tried logging in as different heroes. Then I tried validating the game files on steam and launching again (still with mods disabled) and now it crashes before I can even select the heroes. I noticed it asked for admin permission for anti-cheat, which is new. For Versus I am guessing. Not sure if it matters I have it in use for Hell divers 2 (I wasn’t running that game at the same time).

So this time I was able to stay in the keep without crashing. All my settings were reset so I started to tinker with them and the MOMENT I turned legacy menu on and hit apply… it crashed the game. So I am PRETTY sure it’s when I turn on “legacy” UI (It does say deprecated).
I preferred the legacy UI, for some of the mods mainly. I guess the question is whether this is expected or not (Should it be something that I expect to see fixed or not, or just adapt to not using it).
@brosgw, ah that’s interesting. Is this crash consistent every time you try to switch to the Legacy UI?
I’ve raised the crash with our developers, and we’ll take a look! I just can’t guarantee where it will sit priority-wise, as the legacy UI is deprecated and not really something we commit much resource to now.
After doing some more testing yeah, the legacy UI for sure causes a crash. Not sure if it’s related to the fact I had the loadout manager mod (before the recent update) that relied on that legacy UI. I had it disabled for the reinstall though. I even put all my other mods back in and no crash. I guess I will just stop using the legacy UI and loadout mod then but I am willing to do more testing if you want.
I see! Thank you for the update. No worries, the issue is raised with our developers and I’ll pass the extra information on also. We’ll dig into it, thanks!
