Because it’s not the same people making the content. The problem is not that the cosmetic store exists, it’s that the game is unfinished.
So yeah, one part of the game is unfinished. Others are not. Focus on what is not finished rather on what is.

Character named bundles so we can look like someone else. The ones you earn by actually playing are hot garbage unless you are going for the rank and file grunt VS look.

gotta give it to fatshark. at least the upcoming mtx garbage looks like clothes that were actually pulled out of a garbage bag. thought these scumbag devs really wanted to cash in asap before all the good will they earned with VT2 would run dry—guess not.

i genuinely think they’re turning this game into a kf2/fortnite clown fiesta where it’ll just be “haha omg lolzorz funny & silly costume xDD,” at least judging from what i’ve seen in the leaked future cosmetics post. it’s only gonna get worse from this point on.

Also, what is up with armor that isn’t even kind of syemtrical or has a massive freaking gap in the belly button? “Oh sir, you wanted to protect BOTH legs? You don’t really need the right one do you? And shrapnel in the belly is just an inconvenience! We must set a good example!”

40K armour is at least usually a bit closer to ‘functional’ than armour in a lot of other fiction. We could have our female rejects wearing boob armour that funnels attacks directly into the center of their chests… Actually, scratch that. That’s exactly what the Sororitas armour looks like…
