Cosmetics keep resetting

I had an issue a few weeks back where cosmetics on Bardin reset back to their defaults.

The other day I came across another player who asked in chat why their cosmetics was reset.

Today I have logged in and the cosmetics on Bardin have reset again.

I usually have him wear Valaya’s Hearthguard skin and the Anvil of Doom helmet.

I’m not sure what other characters this is happening to.

Today, the curses on the weekly in Chaos Wastes also changed. It was disabling skulls and exploding totems on dying enemies, but now it is Blood God’s Fury and Infested Foes. The boons did not change though.

Not sure if this is linked? I only considered this since it happened today at the same time. I don’t remember if the weekly changed last time it happened.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

1. Log into game
2. Sometimes find out the cosmetics have reset

That’s unusual. After changing cosmetics, are you exiting Vermintide 2 normally? Or Alt+F4 perhaps?

The Chaos Wastes curses aren’t linked, that was us! One of the curses was causing a crash so we swapped this out last night.

I almost always use the quit button. Although I have force quit the game once or twice, but I changed the cosmetics quite a while back before then

I see, thanks! We’ll keep an eye out internally for this and hopefully reproduce the issue. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of another reason this would happen.

Thank you. Sorry I couldn’t provide any more information. It has only happened twice so far to me, and have ecountered maybe two different players who commented on it in the past. I only thought maybe it was when the weekly was changed because it seemed to happen around then, but I suppose it is a coincidence. If it happens again I will make another report of it.
