Controller sensitivity randomly changes to an unplayable low value

Issue Type (Required):

Input Devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Controller, etc.)

Issue Description (Required):

My controller sensitivity changes randomly to a very low value. A value so low, that it makes the game unplayable.
Whenever t occurs, it occurs right after spawning in
-the hub area
-or a new mission
=> it’s a dice roll every time.

It doesn’t always happen. Maybe one in 5 times. I haven’t written it down. But it is often enough to ruin the experience for me.

The controller sensitivity values in the options menu remain the same they were prior to when this problem occurs. But the actual sensitivity when I move my stick is super low. Changing the value has no effect at all. I have to restart the whole game to reliably get rid of the issue. Sometimes after changing and applying a different sensitivity for about a dozen times, it works again. But it feels absolutely random.

I am using a ps4 Controller on Windows 10 and this is the only game where I have this issue. The controller works perfectly with every other game.

Hi @Zack117,

Since we introduced native control support, I’ve been told that DS4Windows can cause issues. Do you have this installed? If so, can you please try uninstalling DS4Windows.

Please let me know!
