Let us reroll ALL THE PERKS whenever we want. I am telling you before you even implement this, its a terrible crafting system if its gonna be based on timed shop RNG.

I already completed hardest difficulty possible with very sub obtimal gear, game is extremely easy, why make more artificial grind for something thats not even hard to achieve?

When will the xbox port release?

This.

This is the kind of reply where points are listed by the players instead of Fatshark.

More communication and transparency please.
Especially if we are Beta testing a released product.

Again: core gameplay is excellent. Every system around that core gameplay is mediocre if not bad (who hired a F2P Mobile Game Designer for a premium PC game, Emperor Damnit)

Edit: while on the design topic, I’d really like to know the benefit of getting “experience gain”,
“Rewards”, and things like that on our trinkets when they have absolutely no impact on gameplay and are quite frankly useless.

Experience has no use at lvl cap and is seriously undertuned to be of any real value (even if we get 5-15% TOTAL as we level up), as it’s essentially perhaps shaving 8% of the leveling grin…playtime.

Rewards: I’m already swimming in cash waiting for the shop to refresh. More materials? Perhaps? Noooo that would give too much player agency.

1 forcing people to check shop every HOUR is a … way to keep player retention

2 if we were able to just make the weapon we wanted to we’d all come to the conclusion that there’s only ~4 good weapons per class and then we’d notice the lack of maps and the incredible difference in map design quality.

I simply can’t believe they’re arguing for the removal of a very basic social videogame feature that is useful and has been around for many many many years

No it won’t.

Stop arguing for even less player agency especially for something that is very very basic social videogame features that have been around for many many many years

Let’s remove voice chat while we’re removing private lobbies and a kick feature, both of which are needed and should never ever be removed as a choice the player has

I’ve had players say mean things to me and it hurts my feelings. It alienates the niche fan base Warhammer has and makes it more toxic

See how ridiculous that sounds

Voice chat, kick, and private lobbies are there for players to use and always should be there as an option

I NEVER had a hard time finding matches in Vermintide 2, outside of Chaos Weaves, of which had all those features and of which is a Warhammer Fantasy game which is not as popular as 40k. So, I find your ‘think of matchmaking for a niche audience’ theory ridiculous

Options for the player should never be removed, even if there is a small player base, and I truly can’t believe you want less of them

And you know what I’m gonna do if there’s no private lobbies in the game for me and my friends? I’m not gonna play, further feeding into the “there’s not enough players for matchmaking” perception you have

It is up to FatShark to make a good product that has good matchmaking. If players are dwindling and the matchmaking algorithm sucks (ex: Battlefield 2042) that is a Fatshark problem and player faculties should not be removed because the game has some facet of it that is bad enough for players to leave

Precisely

Hello.

Do you really intend to inject crafting system piece after piece? What about a complete working craft feature? What about retrieving some components from “breaking” weapons and trinkets? What about maximizing some stats? What about adding some weapon accessories (scopes for example for the sharpshooter) or some “real” sniper rifles?

Please add lobby browser, i do not wanna play with bots, i will take a new player any time.
Cannot care if the distance is increased just as long as it brings me people, theres nothing in darktide not even crashes that frustrates me more than starting a game with 3 absolutely useless level one bots, 10% in the mission they die, i swear to god it is bad very very bad.

eh, wait why people downvoted this? what is thesaurus?

Nice changes.

To adress a thing that may be unimportant to most: Why emotes only in the hub? Hope you can do them in mission to, like at the end, you know like it was in Vermintide. Also wish there were more voice lines/commands. Atm “thanks” is the only social command, how about “sorry”, “you are welcome” and so on.

Thesaurus is a book of synonymos. Implying the poster is trying to sound smarter than they are.

Kicking players should’ nt be implemented at all as that gives some power to abusers. Anyway, if you’re not happy about your teammates, you always have the possibility to leave.

And I’ll be in the private lobbies with my friends. So I shouldn’t have to use the kick function, that shouldn’t be removed anyway. Again, a very very basic function

So I won’t have a problem with my teammates

But suppose I was. I, as a player, want to have the option to kick toxic teammates. Such an option for player agency should never be removed. Why are we arguing about removing features, especially in a game like this that is already lacking those things?! These things should always be available to the player

Any amount of player agency can be abused. Voice chat can be abused. Text chat can be abused. Private lobbies can be abused. Kick can be abused. Does that mean that it should be removed? No!

I truly do not get these arguments that want LESS features and functions in this lacking product. I don’t

Who are you to decide who is toxic or not? NO! This kicking feature should not be implemented at all!

I am a player. I get to decide who I play with. People get to decide in vermintide. People get to decide in left for dead. People get to decide in Battlefield squads. People get to decide in Back4Blood. People get to decide in Garry’s Mode. People get to decide in minecraft. People get to decide in Sidmeyer Civilization. People get to decide in Worms. Who are YOU to decide if a player is abusing it?

Why should a basic basic feature that has been in many many many games over and over be removed just because YOU have a problem with it

I am not going to argue any more about why REMOVING social player features like private lobbies, kicking, mission select, scoreboard is bad. I cannot believe that two people in this thread think so

NO! You want to decide, just play with friends, that’s all. Playing is also accepting others.
In this world, you decide nothing and that should clearly be the same in games. According to your arguments about that, it seems you’re a frustated guy who’d like to have some “power” upon others.

Kicking feature is, it was, and it will always be a synonym of excess.
I don’t think you play since a long time as this feature is pretty new and always brings a lot of problems.
The only way to make it viable would be an unanimous vote from other players.

Thats the way it works now?
