I’m just waiting for reds to still have locked perks and blessings or some other way to brick what’ll probably be insanely rare equipment.
For L30 players, any weapon below 350 base rating doesn’t even deserve any consideration. Please consider raising the bar to 350 for at least one of the sources. The RNG for the individual base stats are already very frustrating as it is.
Also, way too many T2 blessings are showing up on items in Sire Melk’s Requisitorium. We already have enough T2 blessings from the Armoury and Emperor’s Gift.
So basically, just give us at least ONE source for good weapons, items, blessings, etc…
kind of need higher rating weapons level 300 base rating is really low, if you do low level like 300 then increase the rating of the weapons to like level 3 and level 4 blessings.
for weapon-wise a hotshot-lasgun, and a Long-las with a proper telescopic sights would be very appreciate. in the armory when were modfiying the weapons the ability to change sights would be nice, even if it is restricted to a spefiic type of lasgun like no telescopic sight with the Lucius or Actatran lasguns. for lore-wise sights on las-weaponry isn’t restricted to Long-las verision of the Kantral or Voss or Triplex. and hotshot-lasguns are typically equipped with Targeters and sights.
for in game effect allow that to take up a some crafting martials so people can experiment at a cost of crafting the sights.
since your aim was every 3 months a new class/career/character/archtype would be drop starting when?
for classes allow us to switch classes/archtypes/careers within the characters so we don’t have to regrind (it’s not fun) every class as there is a limited number of characters slots available to us currently.
1.Karskin-tempestus Scions base class as in the past scions and Commissar have been charged with dereliction of duty or being seconded to inquisitional retune.
equipped with Hot-shot-Lasgun, hotshot-Marksman Rifle and Special weapons (meltagun,Plasmagun and Grenadelauncher). Grenades Kark and Frag (2 each) or Melta bomb (2). special ability increase damage or penetration vaules.
- drop troopers Ability like the Engineer from v2 a pullout that has a slow recharge like killing and elite would increase recharge rate by 10% for 2 seconds or something along those lines. to take advantage of the Verticality added into the game.
3.Zealot like a crusader repentia/arco-flailant would be an interesting advancement for the character something that eschews the use of range weapon but allows for a Constant amount of Damage out put weapons, or abilities like fighting through death with the AcroFlail. or drawing the ire of the Enemies within line of Sight to the Crusader. for weapons weapon option the Arco-flailcould have Flails, Wipes, (lighting Style Claws) or drills as possible weapons repentia could be equipped with the eviscator but you start to modify it effects for example adding in Fire when attacking, or Censor Flails, maces and Great Hammers. for A for the crusader 2 Handed Great swords or Helbard. or StormShield and Power weapon (sword would be typical on the miniature) while Power axes, or mauls would also work)
when it comes to reworking the environment the creation of an destructive environment through the mission so we can use meltaguns to open up walls, it already happen within certain area’s like Plague ogyrns burst through the walls. or beast of Nurgle.
while i know this post will be read and forgotten i do hope the Devs at fatshark make notes on how the community feel. and i am grateful there becoming better at community Communication.
and this works on trauma?
With so many stack effects, it would be diculous not to have a hint
Very, very, very small Ogryn holding a proper Ogryn weapon?
Nah, no sharing contracts, resources and weapons. GRIND GRIND GRIND
Who wants to bet that the perk of red weapons is gonna be unlocked blessings/feats next to 100% stat caps?
That would explain the radio silence on the topic.
That way players that grind their weapons up to that level have the freedom to experiment with them as they please.
When is this game going to be worth installing again? I think people might be getting caught up in “le quirky cm” banter but let’s not forget for weeks from the end of December we were basically put out in the cold, with the choice being to post directly to reddit instead of here. Amusing to see now that we’re encouraged to engage on the forums, kind of like the feedback we all gave after the early access “betas”. Will you actually take it on board? (no) This seems like PR exercise until some tangible changes are delivered.
That may be for comparing your first Damnation mission with your current ones. I dropped into Heresy on the closed beta and I’m pretty sure it had the hi-int bug, so we were met with 15 grand elites in the starting area at level 7 or so. That did put some doubt in my mind about that difficulty (or hope for somethign to grow into), but that was later alleviated when playing the live game with a character in the 15-20 range and knowledge of the hi-int issues. Point is, I had wildly different experiences when first touching base and when re-visiting with more experience and knowing what to expect.
Dunno if i get your point correctly, that it´s just like “you´ve more experience now” etc…?
It´s actually my point… i´ve played enough V2 and had a pretty easy time to get used to DT anyway. But even looking at it from a newcomer perspective, poeple just need to get used to the game (bugs aside).
A lot of stuff around the classes and weapon balancing is just not that obvious unless it´s completely useless or broken af. A lot of poeple just say X Y is useless, buff please… but they probably never engaged with different builds or actually tested stuff in the testcenter. They used some stuff once, see the clearly broken stuff and are like “everything else is useless because it´s not effective”.
Once poeple get better at the game, poeple get more experience what to expect from higher difficulties and of course better weapons, it´ll automatically become easier and suddenly all weapons / classes are viable choices even with different builds, no matter if you encounter the hi-int bug or not. That´s why FS shouldn´t blindly buff stuff, just because some poeple say “it´s useless on heresy / damnation”.
Sometimes it´s just bad luck with the AI director or missing teamplay aswell, that doesn´t mean that another class / weapon would´ve done the job unless we talk about something like e.g. flamer, which actually plays like a free “get out of jail”-card.
Bugs shouldn´t be taken into account anyway, they need to be fixed.
Yes I have - arguement doesn’t stick. The “just reached lvl 30” crowd is per definition far to small to justify tailoring the whole gamne design to them (most people either quit before hitting 30 or continue playing leaving the “just reched” crowd quite soon).
And I find it more interesting if I have to make the decision to give an actually usable weapon to hadron to recieve a blessing. Pure grind farming for the sake of it isn’t fun to me - that’s why I never got into MMORPGs.
And do you really think the “just reached 30” crowd would really feel bad if their level grind was rewarded with a sudden and very noticable increase in available weapon quality?
It would even fit the ingame story which has you join the formal retinue of Grendyl after hitting 30 - so a sudden imrpovement in equipment quality makes perfect sense.
There are a bunch of players just playing this game casually, they don´t seek for breakpoints or care about special conditions.
They just buy their stuff in the armory they want to try out, maybe reroll a modifier against something they dislike, but that´s it.
Of course they´ll outnumber the 300 within a timeframe aswell, but it doesn´t mean that they get used to the other stuff.
This is just bad endgame. Not that the endgame is that great here, i would prefer something with real progress and challenges or the complete opposit… get ride of stats and focus on content. But that´s another topic…
Being like “Oh you reached level 30, here is your crazy endgame-stuff!” is a no-go to me. It should be somewhat earned and progress-orientated. Step by step… same with the difficulties.
No way, ogryn can restore his toughness in 1,5 second with lynchpin+toughness regen speed on curios. And horde feeds him with toughnes cause of confident strike/momentum blessings. Immunity to bleedtrough will make him invincible.
Then people just should learn mechanics, tips, and git gut. Why there even word difficulty if you can beat the highest one just because of gear? Gear cap makes difficulty pointless ones you grind out all you need, skillcap cap gives a lot of space for replayability cause you can overcome yourself.
Female Ogryns confirmed! Thank you!
Iam running only D5 and I have 0 issues with underpowered classes and blessings getting a buff.
You know why? Cuz having more viable builds is good for any gear-progression game.
If your ego devalues your achievements cuz you finished D5 on ‘perceived’ harder difficulty than others, then thats your problem
I want more people to have fun with better classes and better gear.
And another point
Did you per chance play D5 with veteran wielding power swords?
Zealots with flamers?
Axe wielders with brutal momentum?
If any of these is yes, then you are just a hypocrite that doesnt understand your D5 was made easier because of busted meta builds and now you are angry that other people with (until now objectively underpowered blessings) can do it too
I tend to think that we need buffs to get more interesting setups and weapons… and nerf for what is too powerful. However, what need to be nerfed has to remain good and remain what they are…
For me, Bolter, PS and Flamer are the most powerful weapons of the game. The problem is not that they are powerful or that they can cut something in two part or that they can clean an horde or even kill a crusher easily…
The problem is that a PS can kill everything and that we can spam use the energize action, that the bolter can be reload pretty fast and that the flamer can be used non stop to clean lot of enemies and that this includes also specialists and elite (except crusher if you don’t use the bug of chastise).
You can nerf these 3 weapons without hurting the “lore” that some here love. You can slow the reload of the bolter, you can put a cooldown between 2 energize actions for a PS, you can reduce the range of the flamer (just examples of what can be done).
But, again, for me it is more important to see weak weapons being viables. FS did a good job with laspistols. Now we can see it used, and that’s REALLY GREAT!
Now, they need to fix other weapons… just to balance things.
Yeah, basically the first part of the quote above (removed part of it). I think everyone should think twice before basing an argument on a comparison between an early impression and how they experience the same/similar difficulty, in this case, currently.
Point being: Playing a game with two psykers and two zealots (no flamer) today might be a very different experience. (Then you can, of course, also take dev changes and bugs into account.)
I agree that bolter, flamer, PS are cut above the rest and some nerfs or adjustments are needed.
If something is so above the rest, then there is no reason to pick the rest.
I would personally nerf PS in a way that you can only take pistols with it. PS remains the same, but the Veteran doesnt have the best ranged and melee weapon at the time
