Coherency is anti-teamwork and toxic

I can sit around in cover waiting for enemies to walk up and melee them for toughness I guess. :slight_smile:
Very fun gameplay, sitting around all day waiting to melee. Baseline regen is already slow and should be baseline. If anything, make it recharge faster while near allies but i’d prefer it’s just removed from coherency entirely.

The game feels slow as heck and boring when you’re solo clutching with 3 allies dead or 3 allies move too far ahead and die, or you decide to flank and eat a shot etc etc etc. It’s just unfun.

Totally fine on vet though because of their passive that enables guess what! Passive regen. I find myself popping zealots ult into walls(totally intended design) to bypass this limitation as well in gunfights.

Combine hitting things with not getting hit. Problem solved!

Spends 2 minutes slowly taking out ranged mooks by waiting for them to jump into me to regain 50 toughness

Maybe I can finally clutch now?

Single shooter spawns behind you and takes out all that toughness in under half a second

Mm, yes, just don’t get hit. Why didn’t I think of that?

Alternative edition:

Single shooter continues firing despite you having your melee weapon lodged in their rectum

Alternate alternate edition:

Shotgunner lands 1 pellet on you from across the map, taking out all of your toughness

My favorite experience in Darktide was accidentally kiting into flamer fire because I was surrounded by horde and had nowhere else to fallback to, then ended up losing all that toughness that I managed to skillfully keep with dodging. Good stuff.

Amen fellas. Base tough regen is awful as is.
