I would like to wish all developers a happy holiday and may their games sell many more millions of copies in the years to come. We all have many hours of fun and many wonderful experiences thanks to this game.
Unfortunately, these experiences weren’t always wonderful, so my Christmas wish for this year is one that will at least partially fix that, not only for me, but for all V2 players.
Please press the button and sanction BotImprovementsCombatReturns mod. There are many V2 players that like to play your game solo or not in a full party. This mod will make playing more enjoyable for all of them.
I heard that the reason the mod is still not sanctioned is because of EAC, which makes it difficult to update mods that are not thoroughly vetted. But this mod is. It’s just a fixed and updated version of the good old original Grimalackt’s Bot Improvements - Combat mod. It currently has over three thousand subscribers and I have no reported errors. I also promise to keep the mod bug-free and update it whenever needed.
So please grant this Christmas wish to me, and not just me, but to all dedicated solo players.

This is the second time you mention this (the first time it was under the post from Freaktacular named “Can you perfectly time daily shillings?” which was completely unrelated to this topic).
Recently, there has also been someone here who has repeatedly reported my posts to be hidden for they were unrelated to the topic, and the FS community managers then had to manually unhide them because they were on topic. I want to ask, was it you? If so, why?
I also want to ask why you mind me talking about this mod for this game on this forum? This forum is designed exactly for these purposes. So that developers can learn what players want. There are currently over 3000 players who would be happy to see this mod sanctioned and the number is growing. I am one of them.
You don’t have to read my posts, you don’t have to be interested in this mod, no one is forcing you. I personally would like your dreams to come true, not just those related to this game. Why do you want to deny me mine? Especially at Christmas time.
Firstly, no, not me, I don’t care about the posts being up.
Secondly, there was a post about weaves that was extremely popular and successful. Days after it was published smo from fatshark on the stream asked « would you love smth about weaves changed ? » and it means they don’t care about anything we write here. I texted them directly about a bug that is only present in my lobby, and it shocked them yet they did nothing. And they ignored when my friends asked them about it.
They won’t do anything about this mod, most likely. Even their new year presents haven’t changed since the last year. They only broke OE, broke BH, and broke everything. It’s useless to ask them for anything, they only care about the new players. ONLY about them.
Moreover, I play with bots every day, really. And I there are a couple of them that are even strong, I would say. SoTT, Necromancer and Warrior Priest are all damn powerful, yes, they’re sometimes dumb, but their power compensates a lot. There are many many more game breaking bugs that sometimes make the game almost impossible to play than dumbass bots, tbf.

Ok, I understand, but if you believe that writing here can’t change anything, then why are you writing here?
And why are you complaining that I’m trying to push for a positive change here for many other players who would like to use this fixed mod in the official realm just like before?
I mean I made a couple of annoying posts on updates last year about how changing tab in the emote wheel couldn’t be rebound and they eventually added it within a month, so someone IS paying attention. For game features and QoLs at least, they appear to be listening.
Mod sanctioning on the other hand appears to have been dead as dirt for years now.
What they fix strongly depends on what’s easy to fix. All UI and visual bugs are easily fixed and they do this, while camera flying out of your body when you apply insane stagger or no sounds from behind… nope, they didn’t do anything about it. Or warpfire being unstaggerable. Or pack masters floating and sliding without a sound. Or assassin’s infinite leaps… there’s so many at this point
