Character periodically looking down without any input

My character looks down during gameplay. This happens without any mouse or keyboard connected as well. Has anyone experienced this or know of a possible fix?

That is a common problem in many fps games. Try setting you mouse polling rate on minimum (for me it is 125) and see if that helps. It may be entirely unique to DT though.

happens to me to on zealot while weapon switching.

Thank you for your report. Could you please provide your launcher log file, as well as a console log for the session where this happened?

These may be found by doing the following:

Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload here

Upload darktide_launcher.log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here
