In the Chaos Wastes, Count Mordrek’s Fortress level, ‘hold out until the gate opens’ part, there are multiple locations where enemies will not be able to reach the players.
In these screenshots, the 4 different spots that all 4 players are standing on can not be reached by enemies, and nor can the players be attacked by melee on those spots. Even the bosses won’t be able to reach the players there. All players are safe from melee attacks as long as they stand on those spots.
