I’ve been hesitant to upload these since I prefer having more than 1 video of something happening to back up my claim. So I want to ask, is there value in posting videos of something happening even if it’s only happened once (to me)?
Anyway, I’ve got 2 videos of CW Overheads being jank AF and I want to show them.
This first one is pretty self-evident
I’m fairly certain this one’s a bug since the CW practically did a 180° when I did a diagonal sidestep back.
First one is 100% a bug or poor coding, that should not happen.
Second one is just a case of you dodging too early however for many elite heavy attacks have target tracking that lasts until a certain part of the of the animation is done. So if you start dodging before then it will adjust the aim and keep going after you to the evident result.
Had waited with the dodge a bit to ensure the tracking part was done then it would have been possible do what you attempted to.
I dare not say i am certain but…i am fairly sure this case is simply one with you just walking out of the overhead and it didnt have a shitty hitbox so it didnt hit? Even when you moved back towards the attack it still was not inside the swing so reasonably it did not hit.
That attack is slow it´s not strange to for it to be possible to walk out of it when your speed isnt too low or bogged down by stuff. But it does reveal a difference in the movement tracking, an inconsistency relative to the 2nd video.
Might really be a bug or maybe it´s something about them adjusting more if you spam dodges a lot to make sure spam dodging isnt too effective.

Right, I thought so too.
Though I started my dodge by the time CW already initiated the running overhead right after it raised it’s hands & axe in preperation, the overhead still connected after the CW did a 180°.
But then look at this example. I started my dodge before the CW even started the overhead animation, was still in the dodge when the CW started the animation. I did a back-right dodge right into the place where the CW swings the axe and misses me.
