Issue Type (Required):
Enemy Mechanics
Issue Description (Required):
Since the Arbites patch I’ve noticed that Chaos Spawn will rapidly spin when preparing to throw a player. This doesn’t seem to change any of the mechanics, just looks funny. It happens for both regular and weakened Chaos Spawn.
[PC] Do You Use Mods? (Optional):
Yes, and I’ve tried disabling them

It tries to swing at the dog, the dog jumps on its back and the CS is essentially chasing its own tail trying to retarget it. It shouldn’t consider the dog a valid target, otherwise the grab essentially does nothing in most cases.

Also had this, even on non cop classes. But I’m sure there was always a dog along (since where is there not anymore), to support the above theory.
Pox hounds also have some similar behavior lately. It’s wild trying to aim track them and they go all superposition out of no where.

Simple fix is disable its attack vs dog. Not sure why it attacks if dog is invincible.
I hate to even suggest it but maybe dogs can be killed? This probobly requires more mechanics to allow players to keep the dog on a leash per say.

Ya, I’m pretty sure it’s something like that. The Chaos Spawn trying to target a dog in some way.
I’ve seen the Chaos Spawn behave normally sometimes since the Arbites update. So I’m pretty sure that was during games w/ no dogs.

Leave it in, it doesn’t change the actual mechanics but looks so funny I thought it was on purpose

It does stop the Chaos Spawn from munching on you if you’re grabbed away from the squad. But it’s hilarious so it should stay.

This is best part of playing with dogcops and should stay.
