Hello everyone. I am quite bugged out about flak and carapace damage blessings. On weapons with high rending one can achieve higher damage to armoured units than unamored units with this blessing. That just feels wrong.
So I suggest to remove those blessings on melee weapons and instead give a 5-10% rending blessing. Good idea?
yes

It would have the nice secondary effect to buff weaker weapons while giving next to nothing to meta contenders.
rework melee and weapons as a whole, add a secondary attack (tertiary at that if you count specials) such as a “rabenschnabel” having a blunt and a puncturing side to it.
likewise other weapons could be wielded in either cleaving or penetrating patterns.
huh….huhuh… penetrating
one should need a distinctively different approach hitting an armored or unarmored opponent as well as physics should reflect the impact and sometimes bouncing off of blows altogether.
that way it wouldn’t feel like a washing program on a dishwasher :insert blessing and perk and push attack button→see em spin
is that a realistic hope to have in seeing it implemented someday? nope.
but melee the way it currently is its either attack a or attack b with a very limited set of attribute options (flak/carapace/unyielding)
