Another player and me recently discovered the reason of rats doing climb teleport and were able to fix it using the QoL modpack: https://steamcommunity.com/app/235540/discussions/1/2963894618462619449/
Since I still hear about enemies doing teleports while jumping or climbing etc., I think it is good for me to leave it here so the developers or modders can make use of the information.
