Captain shield oneshots still exist for some reason, it wasn’t a twin captain as well, solo one
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- get hit by scab captain shield explosion (not shield break one)
- sometimes die instantly with full toughness, even golden toughness

A friend has the same issue in havoc with the twins
A damage tracking mod reports this as fall damage.
Could be due to the physics of being pushed by the shield blast / repulsion.
True, this is a known bug, which is rare to happen. But I also cannot help but notice this as well… Could have been coincidental, because both the captain’s shield & barrel blew up simultaneously near you. So, it’s really a coin toss as to which did you in, both can down you even with gold toughness. But obviously the point is this is still a bug reguardless of the video’s sake. It’s just a bit ironic is all. Amazing they haven’t fixed this either.
Nah, this wasn’t a barrel, sound is muffed but you can see my teammates take life damage and fly away after I got downed already
