On havoc

captain shield when it breaks, can sometimes kill a player standing nearby

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Play havoc
  2. Play until captain spawns
  3. Stand in closest possible range to the captain
  4. Hit captain shield until it breaks
  5. Eat the explosion and die (does not happen always?)

As soon as you see the captain, do a single jump in place. That bunny hop will reset your stored height calculation and prevent dying.

Generally jumping/vaulting anywhere will also do this. Just make sure you do it before the captain shield does its pulse
