Can't reliably use trauma staff on metal steps with holes between steps

Issue Type (Required):

Player Mechanics

Issue Description (Required):

The precise nature of aiming the centre of the trauma staff is great, however on metal steps where each step has a gap between it, more of than not the trauma staff moves off of the step, between the step, and into whatever is below - sometimes very far away if the steps are mid-air. It would be ideal and practical in scenarios where it is of no consequence, that the steps be modelled with say, an invisible surface so that aiming the staff can be reliably done on the steps, rather than a ~50% chance of detonation on a gap between steps.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

Simply aim in the gap between steps and you’ll hit whatever is below or even far below the steps themselves. It’s pretty frustrating!

Reproduction Rate (Required):

Constant (100%)

Platform (Required):

PC - Steam

Player ID (Optional):

Fragarach

Upload Supporting Evidence (Optional):

beam in the middle

no it’s not difficult to do consistently

Yes, obviously, but I should not have to, and it’s not always practical or possible at the peak of say Auric Maelstrom density action.

i can do it and so can you

Who let this basement troll near a computer lol?
