Yeah, yeah it desert wasteland, it’s bright and sunny…
But, at high enough altitudes it will be cold enough for snow to fall, even if it is toxic in nature from the environmental damage. As with Earth, even in the hottest regions on earth, above the snow line, it has frozen snow all year round.
So, can we have some runs with snow, high up in the spire, where sections of levels have been exposed to the elements, and covered with toxic snow and ice.
Not only would this bring a new environment to the game, but it would be fantastic to look down upon the battle raging below, from high up, offering some stunning views… Unit a crusher flattens you.
No, didn’t know the video was out and was thinking about it today.
Not been playing DT a lot recently for many reasons.
EDIT: Mmmmm June 25th, so not long.
Was there any information regarding a crafting update too? There was a warhammer thing recently, that I haven’t watched it, but was there any info in that?
I’ve asked Catfish before when we got the Carnival, but could you ask Mr. Joakim Ericsson if he could post his Concept arts for those and after release of the sector those of that one too ?
Snow stages will definitely be new and refreshing, especially compared to the maintenance areas and abandoned regions we frequently find ourselves in at the moment. Even Throneside doesn’t succeed in making me feel small compared to the majesty of the trees in Athel Yenlui - and I say this as a dwarf enjoyer, who normally has a zero-tolerance policy regarding the existence of elves.
Something that I find strange about this game is that it never really captures the scale of just how friggin’ huge Tertium is. There’s a very clear divide between “level area” and “skybox”, so the illusion is much harder to believe in. A lot of 40k’s media likes to show off that the galaxy is huge, and by consequence, a lot of things in said galaxy are huge, but I’m not getting any of it here!
